About Essex Home Hero

Essex Home Hero is a locally focused directory built to connect Essex homeowners with reliable local tradespeople and home-service businesses. We are an independent platform — not affiliated with any other directory or trade body.

Our mission is simple: make it easier for Essex homeowners to find, compare and contact local businesses without the overhead of national directories or pay-to-play models.

What we do

We list businesses across plumbing, electrical, roofing, building, gardening, driveways and many more trades. Each business has its own profile with verifications, gallery and contact details. Homeowners can either request a quote from an individual business or use our "Get 3 Local Quotes" feature to be matched with multiple local businesses at once.

Founding businesses

During our launch phase, we're accepting the first 100 founding businesses on free listings until 31 July 2026. Founding members will benefit from a discounted upgrade path when paid tiers launch.
